Our Story
Meandjonathan is a Christian hip-hop artist from Houston, Texas, whose music is rooted in faith, testimony and personal transformation. Raised on rap and hip-hop culture, he started writing and recording at 18 and has spent nearly two decades developing his voice and perspective.
After an experience that nearly cost him his life, his direction shifted. What once was trap and secular hip-hop became something deeper, almost like a calling. Music became his way of serving God and speaking openly about faith, struggle, love and purpose.
Influenced by artists like Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Lecrae and Andy Mineo, his sound blends sharp lyricism with spiritual depth. His songs draw from real experiences - struggle, near loss, redemption and growth - and reflect a man in constant evolution as both an artist and a believer.
Now signed to Faith Through Music Group, Meandjonathan continues to release new music, focused on sharing his story, reaching those searching for meaning, and bringing listeners closer to the truth he found.
